This egg dish helps to increase circulation, nourish the body and keep it warm, thus aiding the smooth and free movement of Blood and Qi, and on the harmonious workings of our Zang-Fu organs. Even my father knows how to make egg soup, and when he was aware that I was menstruating, he prepared this dish for me. It is common for Chinese men to have a good understanding of the foods that offer therapeutic value for women's health, and health in general, since prevention and treatment have been incorporated into, and are inseparable from, Chinese families' daily lives.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon raw cane sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons rice wine
1. In medium saucepan, add 1 cup water and raw cane sugar. Bring to boil over medium-high heat.
2. Crack 2 eggs into boiling water, and bring to boil. Add rice wine and turn off heat. Serve hot.
